Kuehn's Way Affordable Housing

The workforce housing project at Kuehn’s Way consists of 20 duplex-style apartments on a 15-acre site and is the largest affordable housing project executed on Martha’s Vineyard to date. The design approach is focused on the fundamental belief that housing should create healthy, pleasant, and sustainable homes for individuals and families at all levels of income. These one-, two-, and three-bedroom units have access to a mix of shared and private landscaped areas on the site that revolve around “Vineyard boardwalks,” which serve as the connective paths from the parking areas to the duplex pairs. The project intends to meet ENERGY STAR Tier 3 performance requirements.
