We are looking for a creative, outgoing, entrepreneurial, inherently curious, strong professional who can lead multiple business development efforts. Bring your energy, your proven track record of projects won and built, and happy clients. In addition to running your own projects, we hope you will initiate connections and introductions between our current Principals, market leaders, and potential clients; collaborate with our Marketing Department to lead engagement through print, social media, and web-based communication initiatives; identify key conferences and thought leadership opportunities targeted to new market growth; and contribute to the growth of the firm.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 12-15+ years of relevant experience, especially as a Project Architect
  • Architecture license preferred
  • Design, technical experience and project leadership experience across multiple project types
  • Enthusiasm for and experience with Business Development
  • Experience leading interior design and architectural projects at all phases of development
  • Experience guiding the professional growth of others
  • LEED AP or Passive House accreditation a plus

LDa Architecture & Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer to join our collaborative team! The Interior Designer will be based in LDa’s Boston office (located in the SoWa Art + Design District) and must be able to travel to project sites as needed.

LDa Architecture & Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer to join our collaborative team! The Interior Designer will be based in LDa’s Boston office (located in the SoWa Art + Design District) and must be able to travel to project sites as needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working collaboratively with LDa Principals and design teams, serve as Interior Designer for projects ranging in size and type
  • Responsibilities vary for each project but may include: space planning, interior architecture, interior design, construction drawings, FF&E, and décor & styling
  • Coordinate work with vendors & contractors; track project budgets; oversee ordering and scheduling; coordinate installations
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff members; act as a design leader within the firm
  • Present to current and prospective clients
  • Support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Skills

  • Excellent design skills, with an ability to design for a range of client styles, preferences and aesthetics
  • Strong skills in interior architecture / space planning
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop in particular) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Revit is a plus
  • Excellent organization and attention-to-detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate design concepts to clients; strong presentation skills
  • Flexibility in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills

Experience & Education

  • 3-5 years of interior design work experience
  • Experience working with closely with architects and builders
  • Knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements
  • Residential design experience required
  • Multi-family, commercial and/or institutional design strongly preferred
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field

Director of Marketing

LDa is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the firm’s marketing and communications efforts and to partner with senior leadership on the firm’s business development strategy and execution.

 

Director of Marketing

LDa is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the firm’s marketing and communications efforts and to partner with senior leadership on the firm’s business development strategy and execution.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & management

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on an overall marketing strategy as well as marketing plans for individual channels (social media, advertising, business development, PR, etc.), allocating marketing resources and budget as appropriate
  • Lead Marketing Team staff, distributing tasks and providing supervision, guidance, and feedback
  • Support Principals and senior staff in the firm’s comprehensive business development plan

Execution

With support from the Marketing Team staff:

  • Write engaging project narratives for use on the firm’s website and in proposals, award submissions, pitches, etc.
  • Maintain the firm’s website, keeping project, firm, and staff information fresh and up-to-date
  • Oversee the firm’s social media channels, ensuring adherence to social media strategy and the creation of relevant content
  • Coordinate and attend professional photography of LDa projects, working with a stylist or staging projects appropriately
  • Planning and coordinating in-house and off-site events
  • Representing LDa at industry networking events
  • Preparing award submissions, project pitches for magazines, and advertisements
  • Maintaining calendars of advertising deadlines, award submissions, and photography scheduling
  • Fielding inquires from potential new clients and tracking leads.
  • Searching for publicly available RFQ/RFPs for non-residential work and evaluating the opportunities
  • Tracking data on LDa’s current projects
  • Compiling proposals, often using required standard procurement forms
  • Maintaining library of marketing resources, including project sheets, databases, employee resumes, etc.
  • Updating project information on Houzz, Pinterest, and other sites
  • Managing the firm’s branded collateral (stationery, etc.) and enforcing use of brand standards across the organization
  • Preparing brochures & client presentations

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 – 10 years of marketing experience, with a preference for experience in the AEC industry including both residential and non-residential projects

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong leadership skills and experience supervising staff
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Deltek/Vision a plus
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication
  • Excellent organization, attention-to-detail, and oral and written communication skills
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Collaborative, enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong client relationship/interpersonal and networking skills
