LDa was tasked with the renovation and refurbishment of the Registrar’s office in Boyden Hall, an historic structure on the University’s central campus. The project included reconfiguration of the interior architecture and systems, portions of the building envelope, and all infrastructure systems of the existing grade-level space.
The renovation included a new insulated wall along the existing exterior wall that significantly improves energy performance and occupant comfort in the space. New mechanical, plumbing and lighting systems replaced outdated systems and dramatically changed the character of the space. The new transaction area greatly improves customer service; private offices look out onto new open work areas; and a new high density records storage system was included in the plan.
