As part of a larger bed optimization effort on campus, LDa was asked to perform interior renovations for Stratton Hall. The scope of work included performing bed optimization on floors 1-3, reconfiguration of the basement for student rooms, adding a new lower level entrance, renovation of the restrooms throughout the building and renovation of the hallways and lounges.
Bed optimizations utilized a new furniture system to add additional capacity and efficiency. In the basement, the slab was removed and re-poured to address moisture mitigation issues to make for comfortable new bedrooms, laundry area and a new student lounge.
