Back Bay Addition/Renovation is Making Headlines
After wrapping up an extensive renovation to MIT's Alpha Theta Sigma Chi house last fall, the building has been getting quite a bit of recognition lately. Situated in Boston's historic Back Bay, 532 Beacon Street has been home to the Alpha Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi since 1919. The inspiration behind the renovation according to Alpha Theta Sigma Chi Alumni Daniel Craig was, "...to put in a good foundation for the next 50 plus years. Our top level abstract goal was to create a first class living and learning laboratory and to still make it feel like home." (Boston.com article)
