Nichole Bake

Nichole is a recent addition to the interior design team at LDa. She has worked at a variety of firms across the Boston area, specializing in high-end residential and commercial design in a wide range of styles and methods. Her experience has given her a keen eye for timeless design and she approaches every project with a fresh perspective, working to understand each client’s vision, aesthetic and specific needs for a space — creating solutions that exceed expectations.

Thomas Choi

Thomas recently joined LDa after having worked at local Boston firm where he learned to blend sustainability, facilities, and capital planning projects. He recently graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where he earned a BS in Interior Design, and has developed a design aesthetic that balances both innovative practicality with the well-being of people in mind. This led him to focus his thesis on addressing open office issues. As Thomas gains enough knowledge and experience in the near future, he plans to work towards getting NCIDQ certified.

Stephen Way

Steve is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and has recently joined LDa after working at a small architecture firm where he focused on high-end residential homes and assisted with the design of Institutional and private boat houses. Steve’s passion for design and construction began as a child. As the son of a carpenter, he spent countless hours in the woodshop and became captivated by the idea of taking something as simple as a block of wood and creating something beautifully functional from it.

Katherine Morse

Katie joined LDa after receiving her Master’s Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Her thesis focused on the revitalization of ruins, exploring ways in which a design trope could be established when working with existing historical sites. Having grown up in New England, she has found that Boston’s classic and modern buildings have led her to pursue a career in adaptive reuse and preservation where she can bring these two disciplines together.

Christian Johnson

A native of Massachusetts and recent graduate of Roger Williams University, Christian just recently joined LDa and has studied design in New England, Europe, and Cuba. He strives for design to merge the practices of art and architecture, and has found this influences how he approaches design. His professional experience features a wide range, including: architectural design, construction administration and furniture design. He is currently pursuing his licensure and LEED credentials.

Alexa Anderson

Alexa joined the LDa interiors team in the Fall of 2016 and has experience in both residential and commercial projects including high end professional service firms. A third generation designer, Alexa grew up in the architecture world and has a true passion for design. Her ultimate goal is to exceed client expectations and create a space that is highly detailed, functional and beautiful. Alexa loves to create timeless spaces that evoke the client's own unique personal style and needs.

Lauren Carter

Lauren is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College where she received a degree in Media Studies, Journalism and Digital Arts.  With a background in event planning, graphic design and social media coordinating, Lauren is always looking for ways to generate new creative content in an innovating and intriguing way. As a Marketing Coordinator for LDa she maintains a social media presence, curates content for the website, assists on photoshoots, and helps with graphic design + public relations.

Virginia Ofer

Virginia joined LDa in 2016 after gaining valuable experience through her internships at commercially-focused design firms in the Boston area. Her sincere appreciation for the impact architecture can have on our lives came from observing her architect parents run a small residential firm in upstate New York. Her graduate thesis focused on the ability of culturally-sensitive spaces to help promote the cooperation and integration of diverse groups of people, especially in situations of mass migration.

Diego Rawson

Having grown up in The Berkshires, Diego discovered his love for the New England vernacular, particularly in residential design, while working for his family's construction business. His decision to pursue his interest in construction led him to The Boston Architectural College where he will be attending his final year next year in pursuit of his Bachelor's Degree. A lot of Diego’s design inspiration comes from trying to merge the rural lifestyle of the Berkshires with the busy city life he now leads.

Kathy Holl

Kathy joined the Interiors team in January 2016, bringing with her a unique skill set that yields a fresh perspective to the space. After graduating from Boston University Questrom School of Business with a concentration in finance, she worked for six years within the industry in investment research and marketing. Her life-long passion for interior design led her to LDa where she enjoys helping clients fulfill their interior design goals.
