LDa Welcomes New Team Members
After a long, snowy winter, things have been ramping up here at the LDa office. Over the past couple of months, we have welcomed four new team members with a variety of backgrounds to assist with some really exciting projects. We are thrilled to have them with us and look forward to incorporating their fresh perspectives in our current and future projects.
Interior Designer Dean Sawyer joins LDa by way of Charleston, South Carolina and New York City. His passion for architecture and interior design developed at a young age, leading into his 15 years of experience in various settings throughout the design field. Dean's ability to incorporate his exclusive style into functional design has been influenced by the environments around him. In the process of design, he often considers himself a facilitator and values his client relationships as much as the work itself. Dean is excited to bring his lifelong experience to LDa.
Senior Interior Designer Erin Tracey brings with her an extensive hospitality and residential portfolio, having designed interiors for some of the east coast’s most recognizable names in the restaurant and hotel industry including Park, Max’s Oyster Bar, The Ocean House, Foxwoods Casino, The Eliot Hotel, and Sheraton Hotels. Erin’s strengths lie in her ability to create exceptional guest experiences that capture a client’s brand, goals, and aspirations, while incorporating proven space planning concepts, innovative uses of materials and technologies and a clear design vision.
Architectural Designer Gillian Baresich first moved to New England in 2010 after graduating from Arizona State University where she earned her BSD in Architecture. Before recently joining LDa, she worked on a variety of residential and corporate office fit-out projects, expanding her technical skills and ability to effectively collaborate with multi-faceted teams. Gillian first discovered her passion for architecture while living in Arizona. Inspired by the sculptural landscape of the desert, she strives to design buildings that reflect and compliment the surrounding context.
Architectural Designer Hannah Osthoff joins our team after having worked at a small architecture firm in the North End where she gained experience in residential design and historic preservation. A New England native, Hannah has always been enamored with the area’s rich architectural history and is particularly interested in designs that meld old traditions with new innovative building techniques. She received her Masters of Architecture from Roger Williams University, after completing her thesis which focused on the exploration of different methods of adaptive reuse.
