Reimagining a historic Newton residence for modern living, our team carried out a comprehensive gut renovation that respected the home’s architectural roots while introducing contemporary flow, functionality, and style.

Openness & connection

The design vision prioritized flow and natural light. Strategic wall removals and a reconfigured layout created fluid circulation throughout the home, preserving the original staircase as a nod to its past while redesigning the secondary stair for modern safety and accessibility.

Culinary centerpiece

Anchoring the renovation, the expanded kitchen is tailored to the client’s passion for cooking and entertaining. Custom artisan-crafted cabinetry, porcelain countertops, dual gas and induction cooking, and a ceiling-flush remote-blower hood deliver a high-performance environment with a clean, understated elegance.

Brightened spaces, renewed character

New windows usher daylight deeper into the interiors, complementing the refreshed open layout. Together, these updates strengthen the home’s architectural character while brightening spaces and elevating everyday functionality.

Apartment revitalization and exterior improvements

The renovation extended to the zoned apartment above the garage, where a new spiral staircase improved safety and code compliance while preserving long-term value. Exterior upgrades—including a refreshed stucco façade and upgraded landscaping—enhance the home’s curb appeal and unify the home’s renewed aesthetic.
