A recent addition to our Interiors team, Liz brings with her over 10 years of experience, designing tailor-made luxury residential spaces for homeowners throughout New England. She prides herself in her ability to listen and advocate for her clients, collaborating with all parties to find the best solution for each project. Well versed in historic design and details, Liz pays particular detail to both the architectural and interior design elements of each space.

Dean Sawyer

Dean recently joined LDa by way of Charleston, South Carolina and New York City. His passion for architecture and interior design developed at a young age, leading into his 15 years of experience in various settings throughout the design field. Dean's ability to incorporate his exclusive style into functional design has been influenced by the environments around him.

Erin Tracey

As a recent addition to LDa’s interiors team, Erin brings with her an extensive hospitality and residential portfolio, having designed interiors for some of the east coast’s most recognizable names in the restaurant and hotel industry. Prior to joining LDa, she spent the previous decade immersed in restaurant and hospitality design for some of the region’s most notable venues including Park, Max’s Oyster Bar, The Ocean House, Foxwoods Casino, Hendricks at the George Washington Manor, The Mooring, The Eliot Hotel, Sheraton Hotels, and the Weston in Waltham.

Ricardo Bilonick

Ricardo's interest in design and construction began in a boatyard on the Connecticut River. It was there that he learned how materials interact, the importance of human scale, and discovered the conversation between function and aesthetics. Design principles from the water need little translation on land, and he has spent almost as much time working on homes, as he has at the desk designing them. A graduate of the Boston Architectural Center with Thesis Commendations, Ricardo has stayed active in the school as guest critic, student mentor, and portfolio reviewer.

Thomas Jonak, AIA, LEED BD+C

Thomas joined LDa as a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design where he received his Master’s degree in Architecture. With previous professional experience in digital media, industrial design, and print and illustration. Thomas’ focus since joining LDa has been to merge aspects of these disciplines to benefit the architect/client design process and pursue a collaborative and unique experience for each project.

Peter Makrauer, Assoc. AIA, LEED

Peter joined LDa in 2012 after three years in Boston focused on high performance building design. He brings his passion for the built and natural environment to every project; striving for the most sustainable solution possibe. Peter engages in a full range of project types at LDa, from single family residences to renovations of historic buildings in Boston's Back Bay. Peter earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, where he worked to establish a student-run design build firm and explored the potential of sustainable design in education.

Julieta Ohri, LEED BD+C

Julieta has been a member of the LDa team since September 2008. As an emerging architectural designer with an increasing role in project management, she has worked on a range of residential projects varying in scale from renovations and additions to new builds with a focus on sustainability and New England traditions. In addition to her residential experience, Julieta has worked on institutional renovations and new construction projects including a Fitness Center and Wifi Lounge at Springfield Technical Community College.

Cheryl Hacker, AIA, LEED BD+C

A valued member of LDa's design team since 2008, Cheryl has worked on a wide range of residential and institutional projects. During her tenure, her role has transitioned to project management of both renovation and new construction projects throughout the Boston area. Her professional interests lie in translating and expanding her knowledge of sustainability, materiality & details to fit within the New England vernacular. Cheryl is a registered Architect, LEED accredited professional and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
