Race Point

Provincetown, MA

Our client and frequent collaborator, Landscape Architect Gregory Lombardi discovered this over-looked garrison colonial house just outside downtown Provincetown. Seeing potential in the well-located lot, he asked LDa to help transform the home into an open and welcoming second home. Due to view restrictions on the property, the house’s footprint remains essentially the same, with a rear addition adding a generous deck and living space below.

The second floor (formerly an artist’s studio space) now houses an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room areas, with bedrooms located on the lower level. New exterior finishes befitting the owner’s modern tastes, and a striking landscape complete the renovation.
