Our clients purchased this ocean-side home with the intention of creating an heirloom summer home for their large family. After the initial renovations and additions were made, the family enjoyed the house for many years, but changes in lifestyle necessitated some additional alterations. LDa was brought on board to re-think the master suite as well as underutilized attic space - all of which were tucked under existing roofs and dormers. Walls and doors were relocated to create a new master bedroom, his and hers closets, a sitting room and larger master bath. The captured attic space was used to create a new home office atop a hidden spiral staircase.
All changes to the home and interiors were made in keeping with the home’s beach house character, including new furniture, finishes, art and accessories.
